What is the Vulcan Script? (Definition)

The Vulcan script writing is a kind of calligraphic alphabet used by an alien species in the Star Trek universe.

The correspondence with the 26 letters of the Latin/English alphabet proposed on dCode is based on few reliable sources. Use with caution.

How to write in Vulcan?

Vulcan writing operates on a system of geometric symbols that represent letters and sounds. Vulcan calligraphy is characterized by straight lines, spirals or waves, often arranged in a vertical linear fashion, creating an elegant aesthetic.

Each calligraphic symbol is associated with one of the 26 letters of the English alphabet.

How to recognize a Vulcan language?

Vulcan writing is characterized by complex calligraphy, with a vertical line and wide spirals, one of which begins at the top, resembling a target from a distance.

All references to the Star Trek or Spock universe are important clues.
