Tag(s) : dCode
dCode is free and its tools are a valuable help in games, maths, geocaching, puzzles and problems to solve every day!
A suggestion ? a feedback ? a bug ? an idea ? Write to dCode!
List of all dCode's tools, available online, sorted by categories (click to expand). To be used in addition to the search bar which allows you to find tools by keywords.
Reminder: dCode has a powerful cipher identifier!
dCode refers to any form dedicated to solving a specific problem as a tool. A tool can be a solver, a generator, or a calculator in various fields: mathematics (numerical calculation, algebra, number theory), computer science (encoding, formats, conversions), cryptography (encryption, decryption, frequency analysis), or text analysis.
Each tool/application automatically performs calculations or transformations based on user input, without requiring any local installation, directly from the dCode website.
This page is used like a sitemap and lists all available solvers and applications, classified by major thematic categories (cryptography, mathematics, computer science, texts, games, etc.) to facilitate navigation and the search for a specific tool.
Example: Cryptography tools are grouped in the Cryptography category of the site, then organized into subcategories (Transposition, Substitution, etc.)
To begin a cryptanalysis/decryption/decryption, dCode recommends using its cipher identifier.
Using a tool on dCode is simple and requires no installation. Here are the general steps:
— Click on the desired tool
— Enter data on the tool page
— Start the calculation by clicking the corresponding button
— Read the results (or export or copy the results)
Leave a comment on this page (indicating any useful information, such as examples) or on a tool page to suggest an improvement or an evolution.
The dCode team will then evaluate the eligibility, feasibility and interest of your suggestion.
New tools are added regularly based on your needs and desires!
For a tool to be added to dCode, it must meet eligibility criteria based on verifiability, reputation, and legality.
A tool is eligible if it is based on a concept, algorithm, code, game, or system that is sufficiently documented in reliable and independent sources: specialized books, academic publications, recognized technical articles, institutional documentation, or established historical references.
A code or cipher is eligible if it has been formally described in the literature (cryptology books, articles, historical archives, technical documentation).
A solver is eligible if the problem or game it addresses is sufficiently well-known, formalized, and documented (clearly established rules, existence of external references).
A converter is eligible if the entities it converts (units, formats, bases, systems) are standardized, widespread, or officially defined.
In general, a tool must not be based on original research, unpublished personal theory, or copyrighted content without authorization. The objective is to ensure that each tool is based on established, verifiable and reproducible knowledge, in accordance with scientific and technical standards.
