Wordox (the word snatcher) is an online word game mixing Scrabble and Othello/Reversi. The goal is to form words to score points (like in Scrabble) but also to reuse the opponent's letters to change their owner/color (like in Othello). Mixing vocabulary and strategy, it stands out from the many Scrabble variants by the importance of placements to block the opponent and dominate the board.
Indicate the available letters as well as the words present on the board then consult the proposals in order to choose the most advantageous word.
This Wordox solver calculates with the 6 letters of the draw and the words present on the board, what is the best solution word by looking for anagrams, the longest possible words or those that can be extended.
Example: With the letters ACEHTY the solver gives answers of 5 letters like CHEAT or TEACH or YATCH and other 4 letters words (but no 6 letters or more)
dCode indicates stop words (words that cannot be extended) with the symbol | (to the right or left of the word, depending on whether it is not extendable to the left or right).
Using a solver can be seen as a form of cheating in a competitive setting. Using the solver as a learning tool to improve your skills and vocabulary remains a more ethical option.
To win at Wordox (the word thief), the basic principle is to play long words that cannot be used by the opponent.
Block strategic squares, and use non-extendable words to prevent the opponent from scoring.
Place the words in such a way as to transform the opponent's letters into personal letters.
dCode recommends using an English Scrabble dictionary for the Wordox solver, but the Wordox game developers have unilaterally decided that some words will not be accepted (and since the list of words accepted by Wordox is not publicly distributed, it is impossible to predict which ones will be valid and which ones will be rejected).
