The Outer Rim Basic Alphabet (or Huttese) is a writing system used in the Star Wars universe. It is primarily used to write languages spoken by extraterrestrial races in the Outer Rim of the galaxy, hence its name.

The letters are stylized differently to give an extraterrestrial and distinctive appearance but in the Star Wars series it is systematically a mono-alphabetic substitution of the letters A-Z and the numbers 0-9 by a glyph/design/symbol.
