How to calculate the astrological sign?
dCode uses the standard default astrology's calendar but it is possible to calculate its sign with respect to the exact position of the sun on the day of birth date (sidereal sign). There may be one day difference between the sidereal sign and the zodiacal sign.
Example: A person with a birthdate 21/01/2000 has for astrological zodiacal sign aquarius and sidereal sign capricorn.
The other stars (the sun is a star) positions do not influence the sidereal sign. Planets or constellations do not influence either.
What are the Zodiac symbols?
Occidental astrology uses a zodiac which divides the sky in 12 astrological signs in equal amplitudes. There are 12 astrological signs, whose symbols are: Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius.
