Answers to Questions (FAQ)

What is the Pythagorean numerology? (Definition)

Pythagorean numerology is a pseudo-science which associates a value for each of the letters of a name or a word.

How to calculate a value with Pythagoras?

Pythagorean numerological computation consists of adding the values of each of its letters in a table (sometimes called pythagorean alphabet). Each of the 26 letters of the alphabet is associated with a number between 1 and 9 (in ascending order) A=1, B=2, …, I=9, J=1, K=2, …, R=9, S=1, … Z=8

Example: Pythagorean value for DCODE is 4+3+6+4+5=22

The value can be calculated for a first name, a last name, or for both if needed.

If needed, it is possible to use recursive reduction to have a single digit.

Example: 12=>2+1=>3

What is the Pythagorean Table Chart?

In numerology according to Pythagoras, the Pythagorean table converts each letter of the alphabet with its value in the table:

123456789
ABCDEFGHI
JKLMNOPQR
STUVWXYZ

What is the meaning of the Pythagorean value?

It is important to emphasize that Pythagorean numerology is based on principles that are not scientifically validated. The numbers obtained by Pythagoras have no intrinsic meaning that could influence our lives.

While well recognizing that Pythagorean numerology is a personal belief with no scientific basis, dCode suggest these interpretations (all random and intentionally benevolent) for the digits 0 to 9:

— 0: Infinite fullness. Zero symbolizes unlimited potential, an endless beginning, and a blank canvas for creating new opportunities.

— 1: Unity and the beginning. The number 1 represents beginnings, individuality and the inner strength necessary to achieve personal aspirations.

— 2: Harmony and balance. Two embodies collaboration, inner peace and harmonious duality which can be a source of mutual enrichment.

— 3: Creativity and optimism. Three reflects joy, creativity and the positive energy needed to overcome challenges with a smile.

— 4: Stability and foundation. The number 4 symbolizes solidity, structure and the solid foundation on which to build lasting relationships and achievements.

— 5: Adventure and freedom. Five embodies curiosity, daring and the freedom necessary to explore new horizons and embrace change.

— 6: Love and family harmony. Six represents unconditional love, compassion and the importance of family bonds in building a fulfilling life.

— 7: Inner wisdom. The number 7 evokes the search for knowledge, inner wisdom and personal discovery through reflection.

— 8: Abundance and success. Eight symbolizes prosperity, abundance and success achieved through perseverance and work ethic.

— 9: Universal compassion. Nine represents compassion, philanthropy and contributing positively to the community, cultivating an altruistic spirit.

NB: these interpretations are purely imaginary and are not based on concrete or scientific elements. The goal is to bring a positive and caring perspective to those interested in numerology. In proposing these values, dCode hopes to respect everyone's interest in diverse beliefs and practices.
