Indicate conditions for the counting (the total length), to only have the number of letter or to get the number of occurrences of a single letter.
dCode thus calculates the statistics of appearances of each character in words (letter, number, or non-alphanumeric character).
Example: A and a will be different
It is possible to differentiate between uppercase and lowercase letters, but also to ignore diacritics (accents, tilde, cedilla, etc.) and even to remove any punctuation.
Example: C, c and ç will be distinct
dCode also has a page dedicated to the frequency analysis more adapted to a cryptographic treatment.
Indicate the specific letter on which to carry out the treatment and the possible parameters for counting (maybe take into account the variants upper case, lower case, diacritics etc.) and click on Count.
