Answers to Questions (FAQ)

What is Circular Glyphs? (Definition)

Circular Glyphs is a substitution graphic alphabet based on a geometric construction based on circles and arcs of circles on a grid.

How to encrypt using Circular Glyphs cipher?

Circular Glyphs defines a symbol for each alphanumeric character (as well as an empty character char(32), as a spacing mark) according to this correspondence table of glyphs:

Achar(65)Bchar(66)Cchar(67)Dchar(68)Echar(69)Fchar(70)
Gchar(71)Hchar(72)Ichar(73)Jchar(74)Kchar(75)Lchar(76)
Mchar(77)Nchar(78)Ochar(79)Pchar(80)Qchar(81)Rchar(82)
Schar(83)Tchar(84)Uchar(85)Vchar(86)Wchar(87)Xchar(88)
Ychar(89)Zchar(90)0char(48)1char(49)2char(50)3char(51)
4char(52)5char(53)6char(54)7char(55)8char(56)9char(57)

Example: CIRCLE is written char(67)char(73)char(82)char(67)char(76)char(69)

Lowercase and uppercase are the same.

How to decrypt Circular Glyphs cipher?

Unlike encryption, decryption replaces circular symbols with their equivalent (letter or number) in the alphabet.

Example: char(80)char(73) is translated PI

How to recognize a Circular Glyphs ciphertext? (Identification)

The designs are all based on circular arcs, cut into 4 quadrants/sectors.

A glyph with 2 arcs of circles are never positioned in 2 opposite quadrants.

When there are several rows, the symbols form a grid.
